Jonathan Dworkin’s career has spanned the music industry in 15 years. Following initial stints as a session guitar player, engineer, and label staffer, he launched Brick House Management, a boutique artist management company. Brick House’s roster boasted platinum producers, Grammy Award winners, and best-in-class artists like J Dilla, Pete Rock, Memphis Bleek and GoodandEvil. In 2004, Jonathan joined international media conglomerate Lagardere SCA to help launch US operations for its mobile division, creating groundbreaking original content brands BlingTones and BarrioMobile. Since joining the team at Nokia in 2008, Jonathan has been a critical part of Nokia’s scaling its music services in 38 countries, including Nokia Music Stores, Comes with Music, and the new and much lauded Mix Radio. Jonathan is currently Head of Business Affairs and Strategy, Entertainment, where his team oversees Nokia’s business relationships with music, TV & Video, and print rightsholders globally and guides Nokia Entertainment’s overall strategy. Jonathan lives in Brooklyn, NY with his wife and two children and holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BA from Colgate University.
