David DeKeyser
After five years of being a DJ, music director, and basically any job under the sun at WZBC in Boston, MA, David moved to NYC in the summer of 2009. He went from seeing shows in the front room of Brooklyn music venue Death By Audio to working with its record label in the back room, helping local bands like Coin Under Tongue and Starring. Landing an internship with the iconic UK-based record label Mute in fall of 2010, he soon took over the radio promotions department where he has run campaigns for major acts like Liars and M83, promoting artists not only at the non-commercial format, but also AAA, specialty, and commercial alternative radio. With a deep catalog like Mute’s, David has worked on developing up-and-coming international bands such as Big Deal and Cold Specks, along with supporting influential, worldwide-known artists like Moby, Erasure, and Richard Hawley at college radio.
