Michael Iurato

Michael Iurato is in a relationship with music in many ways, he is a fan of many bands, a music lover of many genres and is a conduit for this passion. He loves to discover and develop new acts, he loves to call In De Goot Entertainment his home. He himself was a guitar player in a band for 7 years. He started an indie label his second semester in College (did everything in-house) and released over 30 CD's ; 4 of which were for his own band. He opened a mastering studio in NYC, he has mastered over 300 CD's (Blondie, Bo Diddley to name a few). He has secured major and independent deals for many bands. Michael manages bands with a world wide following (Neon Trees, Adelitas Way, The Parlor Mob, Nightmare and the Cat, Find Vienna)…but at the start of the day, he never leaves home without his iPod and at the end of the day he always leaves the office with some new tunes. Michael Iurato is blessed and humbled that he gets to do what he loves...spending his day fighting for the music. He is extremely honored to be part of CMJ 2012 because he spent many years attending the festival as a musician.
