James Celentano

James is a Vice President and member of the senior management team at Extensis Group, a firm that serves as the outsourced human resources department for 250 companies, including a number of media, tech and service companies in the New York area.

Previously James was Vice President Human Resources at Warner Music Group and prior to that was VP Human Resources at TVT Records.

James founded Hudson Gain Corporation, which he sold in 2011. He is also an investor in start-up music platform Hotathon.com.

James started his music career as a recording engineer in studios in the Philadelphia market in the 1980s, and started his Human Resources career at executive search firm Korn/Ferry International in the 1990’s.

James is an Adjunct Instructor in the Graduate Music Business Program at NYU’s Steinhardt School.

James is an SPHR, and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, and a BA in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.
