As Vice President, Licensing, Matt is responsible for ASCAP’s licensing of digital services, from the world’s largest audio and video DSPs to burgeoning start-ups. He has overseen the strategy and growth of new media licensing for ASCAP since the emergence of music on the internet in the mid 1990’s. His experience includes mechanical and synchronization licensing, neighboring rights, IP/copyright law for music, business development and operations. He served as Strategic Planning Coordinator for NMPA/HFA from 1998 to 2001. Matt has a BA from Columbia University in New York.
